The rower itself is fairly east to assemble. One problem I had is that the square apertures for the coach bolts holding the front foot rail to the body were punched too deep, allowing the bolts to rotate. I was able to pry them back up! Also, I originally thought that the display unit had been omitted, until I found it buried inside the foam packing. A warning in the instructions would help.
The rower is well constructed, and the range of resistance settings is good. I prefer the resistance characteristics of the air-vane type machine, but don't have the space for one. This is a lot more compact, and the fold up action is good.
